Don and Chet

In the video below, Steve Wariner reminisces with Chet Atkins about the great guitarist’s career as a performer and a producer of other artists. Steve and Chet are in the Ryman Auditorium for the program’s conclusion. At close to the 7:40 marker, they begin playing and singing “(All I Have to Do Is) Dream.” Halfway through the song, Don Everly emerges from the audience to take the vocal lead. The crowd erupts, and in a classic illustration of his warmth and spontaneity, Don plants a kiss on his old mentor.
